Complex shapes can be cut with precision and high-speed in wood, plastic and non-ferrous metal using a MultiCam 3000 Series CNC Router.
The Process
Your design is imported or created in the routing software where paths are defined for the cutting tools to follow. The tool paths are uploaded into the router and used to control the motion of the tool as it cuts the wood or other material to shape within one thousandth of an inch. A powerful vacuum holds the material down to the bed without marring the surface. The large 60 by 122 inch bed can easily hold a full sheet of plywood or multiple smaller panels. The routed parts have clean edges cut precisely to your design ensuring accurate size and fit.
